Reflecting on the bold project, Miley said:
“The nudes by Paolo are so iconic and signature to his art. Standing naked for a fashion campaign felt major. All I wore was body paint and the painted Tabi boots. In that moment, Margiela and I became one.”
The campaign images were reposted by Miley on Instagram, instantly sparking excitement from fans.
One admirer commented: “She is pure art ❤️”, while another gushed: “Only you could make something this unique and breathtaking.” Others hailed the shoot as “incredible” and even a “masterpiece.”
This daring photoshoot comes just months after Miley opened up about a health scare earlier in the year. Back in May, she revealed she was rushed to intensive care after contracting a serious infection while filming on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The singer explained she had been rolling around on the pavement for a music video shoot when she suddenly became ill. “I was very glamorous, rolling around on the sidewalk — and I caught something,” she joked during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
The infection spread to her knee, forcing doctors to act quickly. Miley recalled her surgeon’s shocked reaction: “To have a surgeon look at you and say, ‘Yuck,’ when they literally cut into brains for a living — that’s a lot.”
